Gentle Touch® is appropriate for Children, Parents, and Professionals:

Children (under age 5)

    Babies who are "well"

    Babies who experienced stress during pregnancy or labor

    Babies who were substance exposed

    Babies who were born pre-term

    Babies who were delivered by C-section

    Babies who were delivered using forceps or vacuum

    Babies who experienced a medicated birth

    Boys who have been circumcised

    Babies who were, are, or who become hospitalized

    Babies who are fussy or have colic

    Babies who have special needs

    Toddlers

    Preschoolers

    Children who appear to have stress

    Children who have difficulty self-calming

    Children who have trouble sleeping

The Gentle Touch® Parent-Child Program is a health promotion, experiential parenting program, a child abuse prevention, and a high-risk intervention, depending on when and how it is used.

With training, Professionals can integrate the Gentle Touch® Parent-Child Program in:
